Marybeth graduated from Fitchburg State College in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications/Graphic Design. While at FSC, she gained real-world experience as a production artist for the student-run college newspaper, and as a designer for the Campus Center Resource Office.
In 1993, Marybeth started her professional career as a production assistant in the higher-ed textbook division of Addison-Wesley Longman. After working at AWL for several years, she moved on to work as an advertising designer for Worcester Magazine, a leading alternative newspaper in Central Massachusetts. She moved to Maine in 1996 and began working as a designer for Konica Photo Imaging.
Bella•Skea Design was launched in 2001 and since then Marybeth has worked as a freelancer, and most recently as a creative specialist and package designer for Hannaford Bros. Supermarkets. Over the past 16 years she has gained experience in advertising, book publishing, retail flyer design, corporate marketing, newspaper publishing, package design, POP design, project management, and web design.
Marybeth lives in Gorham with her husband, two daughters, and three cats.
